Left of Center Art Gallery (LOC) is pleased to present The Other Sidean exhibition of paintings by artist, Byron Stout.  Stout’s work is about the other side of Las Vegas,  “the freaks and the geeks, the heat, and the cold and loneliness of this desert freak show.  In these images, I am trying to present an angle of America that can only be seen if you’re looking left of center.  The center is not where all the action is.  When you’re looking for something else, the alternatives become the focus, they become the stars, the kings, and the queens.  The background noises of the cars become symphonies and streetlights become spotlights… I think the other side to Vegas has less money but more heart and soul, even if they’re rough souls.”  -Byron Stout
