In celebration of Black History Month, 2023, Meow Wolf collaborated with Left of Center Art Gallery to represent African and African American culture and heritage. LOC Gallery emerging artists, live painted a custom mural inside Omega Mart in 6 hours under the direction of veteran LOC artists and professional designers, Adolfo Gonzalez and Harold Bradford. The mural is their interpretation of the past and the future co-existing and the community that has gathered to make Left of Center Gallery a place many call home. The mural will be on display during the exhibition run.
We see these young artists as our future, the dreamers of dreams which lie ahead. We are proud of the work they have done and the beauty they are bringing to the world.
Dreamers of Dreams will be on display from April 12 – June 3, 2023
