A social justice themed art exhibit Tuesday, January 19 – Saturday, April 9, 2016 Artist Reception & Award Ceremony: Saturday, January 30, 2016 Noon until 3 pm. This exhibit addresses issues currently facing our society today, including profiling and gender injustices. It features a juried exhibition with the work of local artists, Dayo Adelaja, Vanissa Chan, Lisa Fields Clark, Steven Dansky, Anthony Johnson, and Vernon Rowlette. There will also be an exhibition of the three jurors’ work. The jurors, who are all artists and activists, include Diane Bush, Sylvester Collier, and Alexander P. Huerta. In addition, There will be work by Left of Center administrators, Denise R. Duarte, Marylou Parker, And Vicki Richardson, including a socially engaging project for gallery visitors.
